IMCA 2011 Group by pool

Come SWIM, BIKE & RUN with our Tribe!  All members of Lacamas Athletic Club are eligible to become Warriors! Pick an event on our Targeted Events list, complete it, and you are in!

There are lots of opportunities for Tri Training & competing at Lacamas. See the training calendar below for ideas.  The distances and suggested workouts are based on the targeted events list.

Swim Workouts are offered M/W at 7am, and Saturdays at 8:15am.

Cycling groups: Mondays Beaches Paceline at 5pm. Wednesdays 20-40 miles at 8:30am. Saturdays 30-80 miles at 9:30am.

Running groups meet T/Th at 7am and on Sundays at 7:30am.

SATURDAY’S PLAYDAY is the one time we all try to get together for a little fun.  In the winter, we meet at 8:15am for Triathlon Swim Workout, 9:30am KICKR Cycle (or Spin), (Oct-March) a specialized class on Wahoo KICKR Trainers; bring your bike!, then follow that up with a Brick run.  In the warmer months, we either swim at the club @ 7am, then ride at 8:30am, or meet at a local lake for an open water swim followed by a ride; sign up on the Clubready app.

Beaches PACELINE Ride is held spring-fall, when the pavement is dry.  Only experienced cyclists should attend this workout. FAST, challenging ride….each rider pulls for 2 minutes, then  drops to the end of the pace line.  Speeds over 30 MPH are not unheard of.  Come prepared to ride hard~ Many attend Happy Hour at Beaches after the ride; sign up on the Clubready app.
